Berenice is the founder of Belita Bee Doula Care, providing compassionate, personalized postpartum support to families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Carrot-approved postpartum doula with over six years of experience supporting families, she is passionate about helping parents feel confident, rested, and supported during the early weeks of parenthood.
With a warm and nurturing approach, Berenice has supported families with newborns, twins, first-time parents, NICU transitions, feeding support, overnight care, and postpartum recovery. She believes every family deserves nonjudgmental, culturally respectful, and evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs and parenting style.
Whether she is helping parents get much-needed rest, soothing and caring for their newborn, supporting feeding goals, or offering emotional reassurance during the postpartum transition, Berenice creates a calm, safe, and comforting environment where both parents and baby can thrive. Her goal is for every family she works with to feel empowered, cared for, and never alone on their journey into parenthood.
My philosophy as a postpartum doula is rooted in compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centered care. I believe every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and confident as they transition into parenthood. My role is to meet families where they are, honor their values, culture, and parenting choices, and provide nonjudgmental support every step of the way. During the prenatal period, I focus on building trust, helping families feel prepared, and creating a plan that supports their goals and expectations. During birth and the immediate postpartum period, I believe in creating a calm, nurturing environment where parents can focus on bonding, healing, and adjusting to life with their baby. In the postpartum phase, my goal is not only to care for the baby, but to care for the whole family—supporting feeding, newborn education, emotional well-being, recovery, rest, and confidence—so parents feel empowered long after my support ends.
