Hi, I'm Caroline! I'm a full-spectrum doula, student midwife, folk herbalist, flower farmer, and functional movement guide living on California's Central Coast. Supporting families through the many seasons of growing and welcoming new life is truly my calling.
I believe in deeply embodied care that begins in preconception and flows through pregnancy, birth, early parenthood, childhood, and the many seasons that follow. My work is rooted in Earth-based education, whether through childbirth and childcare, gardening and tending the land, intuitive movement, or wildcrafting. I'm guided by the understanding that our relationships with the Earth, our ancestors, our plant kin, and our local communities and ecosystems hold the potential for intergenerational healing and a more creative, regenerative approach to care.
I offer full-spectrum doula support to families and individuals across the Central Coast, with my work grounded in traditional midwifery practices and heart-centered birth support. With over a decade of experience teaching yoga and movement, I weave functional movement and subtle body awareness into all that I offer, creating space for connection, trust, and attunement throughout each unique journey. My goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and deeply cared for every step of the way.
My philosophy is rooted in whole-family care that honors the unique needs of each individual, with the mother or birthing person at the center. To me, doula support is not a luxury or a temporary fix for gaps in the maternal healthcare system; it's a vital bridge to the kind of embodied, compassionate care that all families deserve. My work is rooted in bringing more ease, rest, and joy into the experience of growing a family, while fostering meaningful community throughout the entire childbearing journey.
Through trusted resources, referrals, and interconnected networks of care, I support a thriving local community for families. In the prenatal period, I offer extended visits (1.5–2 hours) leading up to my on-call period beginning at 37 weeks, creating space for deeper connection, education, and preparation. In the postpartum period, I integrate traditions thoughtfully attuned to each family's culture, ancestry, and evolving needs, with visits ranging from shorter, focused support (around one hour) to longer, restorative in-home sessions lasting up to 3-4 hours. Throughout, I guide families in reconnecting with their intuition, leaning into community, and engaging in reciprocal, locally rooted care, because again and again, I've witnessed how transformative this work can be when rest, nourishment, and trust in the body are centered, even in the most intense and tender seasons.
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to doula care. Instead, I remain adaptable and responsive, meeting each family where they are as their needs shift day by day, moment by moment. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to holistic, attuned, embodied, and informed care, care that not only supports individual families, but helps cultivate a more connected and supported community as a whole.
