About Me

Hi, I'm Celia! I'm a full-spectrum doula with over 18 years of experience in OB/GYN, devoted to supporting women through every stage of their reproductive journey. My work is shaped not only by my clinical background, but also by my personal experience as a surrogate for six families, many within the LGBTQ+ community. Supporting women through this journey is truly my calling.

These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and cultural nuances of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. I'm deeply passionate about maternal health, patient advocacy, and creating safe, inclusive spaces where every woman feels seen, heard, and respected.

My approach is rooted in education, empowerment, and compassion. I believe that when women are well-informed and genuinely supported, they're better able to trust their instincts, make confident decisions, and advocate for themselves and their families.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy is rooted in education, empowerment, and advocacy. I believe every woman deserves to fully understand her body, her options, and her voice throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Without that knowledge, it can be difficult to recognize what is normal, what is not, and when to speak up, so my goal is to ensure each client feels informed, prepared, and confident in their care.

I don't view my role as replacing a partner or existing support system, but as strengthening it. I work alongside families to build confidence, encourage open communication, and support them in advocating for themselves. Every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported, never dismissed, defeated, or alone.

With both my clinical experience and my personal journey as a surrogate, I bring a unique perspective that blends medical understanding with deep empathy. I support each family with respect and inclusivity, honoring the belief that every birth experience should be safe, supported, and empowering. Overall, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and truly empowered, trusting your instincts and your voice every step of the way.
