Hi, I'm Geraldine, the founder of Geri Blossom Doula! I am a trained birth and postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. As a Black Jamaican doula, I am passionate about supporting Black families while welcoming clients from all backgrounds, and this work is truly my calling. I believe every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and empowered in their birth experience.
Whether a family is preparing for their first baby or adding to their family, I am here to provide emotional support, evidence-based education, comfort measures, advocacy, and encouragement every step of the way. My goal is to help every family feel confident, supported, and cared for as they welcome their baby.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that every family deserves respectful, compassionate, and individualized care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I believe birth is a powerful and personal experience, and my role is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support while honoring each client's choices, culture, and values. I strive to empower families through education, advocacy, and evidence-based information, so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
As a Black Jamaican doula, I am especially passionate about supporting Black families and helping create a safe, positive birth experience for every family I serve. Overall, my goal is to build trusting relationships and ensure every client feels heard, respected, and supported from pregnancy through postpartum recovery.
