Hi, I'm Jasmine! I'm a maternal and reproductive health advocate, certified breastfeeding specialist, doula, and owner of Yaya's Hands Perinatal and Lactation Services, dedicated to advancing birth-to-lactation equity. My work centers on uplifting Black and Brown families and ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive, and this work is truly my calling.
I serve on the boards of both the Inland Empire Breastfeeding Coalition and the California Breastfeeding Coalition, where I help lead statewide efforts to expand access to education and culturally relevant care while protecting and promoting lactation. This broader advocacy work informs everything I do, because I believe systemic change and individualized support go hand in hand.
My philosophy is rooted in meeting families exactly where they are. I prioritize open communication, shared decision-making, and individualized care, ensuring each family feels confident and supported from pregnancy through postpartum. Your unique needs and goals guide the care I provide.
My work is grounded in advancing birth-to-lactation equity, with a deep commitment to uplifting Black and Brown families and ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive. I believe systemic change and individualized support go hand in hand, so I bring both compassionate, one-on-one care and a broader dedication to expanding access to culturally relevant support.
Overall, my goal is to help every family feel confident, supported, and empowered, seen in their unique needs and cared for with equity and compassion through every stage of the journey.
