About Me

Hi, I'm Jennifer! I began supporting women in birth long before it became my profession; being present for family members during labor was part of my culture from the time I was a child. My father is from Mexico, and my mom is a hippie from Arkansas, and that blend of roots gave me a deep, early appreciation for the power of birth and family. Supporting families as they grow and welcome new life is truly my calling.

After navigating my own fertility struggles, I'm now the grateful mother of two healthy children, and being a mom is my greatest joy and my life's purpose. As a mom, sister, and good friend, I've supported fellow Navy wives, family members, and friends through the birthing process, offering care before, during, and after birth.

Once I put down roots in San Diego, I began my certification process and started volunteering with birthing people at UCSD in 2024. Today, I'm honored to launch my own practice and walk alongside all families as they grow and welcome new life. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy is rooted in community; I truly believe we all need it, and it's an honor to be part of each family's birth story. In the prenatal period, I focus on offering steady emotional support along with the knowledge of what to expect, so you feel prepared and grounded as your big day approaches.

During labor, I'm there to support you, whether you're planning an all-natural birth, would prefer an epidural in the hospital, or are planning a cesarean. Birth is a big moment in a big journey, and every path deserves support; I want to be there for you no matter how you deliver. I believe postpartum support is just as crucial. You are a whole person who will need time to rest and recover, and your support person is a whole person too, with a whole life and a new journey of their own beginning. That's why I'm here to support the entire family, because it's a big moment for everyone.

Overall, my goal is to help you and your family feel supported, prepared, and deeply cared for through every stage of this journey.
