Hi, I'm Jennifer! I'm a Certified DONA Doula and ALPP Certified Lactation Counselor, and it's an absolute honor to support families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Walking alongside families during this meaningful season is truly my calling.
As a mom of three, I bring a total of five birth experiences across four different hospitals in San Diego County, including a Cesarean, a VBAC, and two failed epidurals. I'm also a two-time gestational surrogate for two different families. I exclusively breastfed my three children and completed two nine-month exclusive pumping journeys, donating breast milk to both local families in my community and a preemie milk bank, so I bring extensive personal experience with lactation and breast milk storage.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!) and bring years of client-facing experience, including my role as a Clinic Coordinator at Conceiveabilities, where I supported expecting mamas through meaningful and emotional stages of their journey. I'm also a trauma-informed, Resource Family Approved home, providing respite care for foster children throughout San Diego County.
When I'm not supporting families, I love Hot Hula Fitness, cooking Filipino food in my Instant Pot, and soaking up beach and bay days full of sunshine. I also have a passion for photography and would love to capture precious moments at your birth (with your camera and permission). It is an absolute blessing and an honor to be part of your birth team, thank you for being here.
My philosophy is rooted in full, unwavering, judgment-free support. Whether you're planning a medicated or unmedicated birth, an induction, or a cesarean, I'm here to meet you exactly where you are. I believe deeply in "mothering the mother", holding space for you so you feel seen, heard, and cared for throughout your journey.
I stand firmly in support of my clients. I'm here to help you understand your options, speak up for your needs, and ensure your voice is heard and respected throughout your birth experience. My role is to support you, your partner, and your entire family in a way that feels right for you, without pressure, without expectations, and always with your voice at the center.
Overall, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported, empowered in your choices, and cared for every step of the way.
