Hi, my name is Kim. My doula support is a comprehensive, heart-centered offering that holds you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with presence, preparation, and care.

Hi, I'm Kim!
I've been supporting growing families as a doula since 2018, providing compassionate care throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Whether you're planning a medicated birth, an unmedicated birth, or you're simply exploring your options, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident every step pf the way. I have experience supporting births in hospitals, birth centers, and at home, and I deeply honor each family's unique wished and birth experience.
A little about me...I'm married to my high school sweetheart and a proud boy mom. As I stepped into an empty-nester season of life, I felt called into something deeper. That calling is what led me into birth work, where I discovered a profound passion for walking alongside families during one of life's most transformative times.
Along the way, I learned how to truly support myself through my own experiences, my own growth, and learning how to "doula" myself in life. That journey is what shaped the way I now show up for others.
It was also during this time that I found yoga and aromatherapy, and experienced firsthand how deeply they can shift the body, the mind, and the way we move through life. Those practices became part of my own healing, and they're now naturally woven into the support I offer during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
This work is an extension of my own path, and something I feel deeply connected to every day. My goal is to help you feel supported, grounded, and cared for every step of the way.
My philosophy is centered on creating a calm, supportive environment where you feel safe, informed, and confident throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I provide steady emotional and physical support, along with education and preparation, so you can make decisions that feel right for you. I also support your birth partner, helping them feel confident, involved, and equipped with simple, effective ways to support you during labor, so we can work together as a team.
In practice, this often looks like preparing through prenatal visits and a hands-on birth rehearsal, then supporting you in labor with practical tools: breathing techniques, positioning, rebozo and birth ball work to create space and support optimal baby positioning, TENS for comfort, and aromatherapy for relaxation. I adapt moment by moment based on what you need, meeting you where you are, whether you want detailed guidance, hands-on support, or simply a calm, reassuring presence.
At the core of my work is the belief that when you feel supported and safe, your body can work more effectively and you can move through birth with greater confidence and trust in yourself. Overall, my goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
