My name is Kourtney McGowan and I am so passionate about the work I do as a doula! I came from working in child care for about 12 years then took more of a leadership role for five and now supporting clients in birth and post partum since 2011. I have also done some midwifery courses and was fortunate to publish a book in 2024 for pregnancy health specifically for women of color and was featured on the Tamron Hall show. Since then my career has really taken off and I am so grateful. I have experience in multiple areas including: IVF, loss, pre eclampsia, Gestational diabetes, home birth, birth center births, nutrition and more!
