As a full-spectrum doula, I provide compassionate, continuous support through every stage of the reproductive journey. My approach is grounded in warmth, intuition, and evidence-based care.

Hey there! My name's Lacie (Lace for short), and I'm a prenatal and postpartum doula serving the Bay Area. My approach is grounded in warmth, intuition, and evidence-based care, and it starts with one core belief: you deserve access to all of your options and the tools to make them possible.
My heart is in postpartum care. The weeks after birth are sacred, tender, and more demanding than most people expect. Whether your birth went exactly as planned or left you with feelings to process, you deserve to feel cared for.
As your postpartum doula, I offer daytime support tailored to what you actually need. One day that might mean drawing a magnesium-filled bath and lighting candles before I take over newborn care. Another day may look like making you some tea while you nurse, or simply sitting with you while you talk through your birth experience. Other days, it's some light tidying so you can rest. I follow your lead.
One of my favorite offerings is Abhyanga, a traditional Ayurvedic postpartum massage using warm oil to help your body recover, regulate, and feel at home in itself again. It's a deeply nourishing practice that I'm honored to bring into this work.
I also provide lactation support, helping you find comfort, confidence, and connection in feeding your baby.
No matter where you're starting from, my goal is simple: to make sure you feel mothered while you're busy mothering.
I also offer prenatal support for clients who want to feel prepared and confident as labor approaches — without needing a doula present at their birth. This is a great fit if you're planning an intimate birth experience, or if your primary focus is postpartum support but you'd love some guidance leading up to it. Please note: I only attend births on a case-by-case basis.
In our prenatal sessions, we'll build your individualized birth toolbox together — covering comfort measures, pain relief techniques, labor positions, grounding practices, and meaningful moments of connection with your body and your birthing partner. I also incorporate birth art to help you explore and express what's already deep within you.
During one of our visits, I'll guide you and your support person through a series of exercises from my Spinning Babies training — designed to help baby find an optimal position, lengthen the psoas muscles, and relieve common pregnancy discomforts.
If you're hoping for an unmedicated or low-intervention birth, we can dedicate an extra session to fine-tuning your toolbox and building your confidence for whatever labor brings.
I'd love to support you. Reach out to learn more about working together!
