Hi my name is Maggie, a full-spectrum doula based in North County San Diego, supporting families through birth and postpartum. Since 2016, I’ve worked with a wide range of births—from home births to hospital births, cesareans, VBACs, and high-risk pregnancies—as well as supporting families through bereavement, postpartum mental health, and complex family dynamics. I currently serve as a doula and program coordinator for UCSD Health’s Volunteer Doula Program (Hearts and Hands), where I provide on-call birth support, coordinate doula-client matching, and help train new doulas. I work closely with midwives, OBs, anesthesiology, and nursing teams to offer calm, discreet, and evidence-based support tailored to each family’s unique needs.
My training includes full-spectrum doula certification, trauma-informed care, lactation support, OR support, Spinning Babies techniques, and Hypno babies, among others. I’m credentialed as a California Doula Provider and accept several Medi-Cal and commercial insurance plans. I’ve also helped launch community doula programs for refugee families—an experience that has been deeply meaningful and grounding in my work.
My approach to prenatal, birth, and postpartum support is rooted in empowerment, compassion, and advocacy. I strive to create a safe, respectful space where families feel informed, confident, and supported through every stage of their journey into parenthood. When I’m not in the birth room, I’m at home in San Diego with my human kiddos and fur babies—bringing the same warmth, dedication, and care to every family I support.
