Hi, I'm Michelle Hollie, founder of Sunflower Womb Wellness Doula Services and a certified birth doula serving Solano County and the Bay Area! My calling into this work is spiritual, ancestral, and heart-led. I offer birth support that honors the emotional, physical, and sacred journey of bringing life into the world.

As a woman deeply rooted in culture, compassion, and care, I provide loving support to women and birthing people of all nationalities, especially those seeking a safe, soulful space to be held during this sacred time.

Practice Philosophy

My approach to prenatal and postpartum support is holistic, intuitive, and rooted in compassion, culture, and connection. I believe pregnancy and postpartum are not just physical experiences; they're emotional, spiritual, and transformative journeys. Every birthing person deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and supported in a way that honors their unique story and background.

During the prenatal period, I focus on building trust and connection, providing education and emotional support, and helping families feel prepared, confident, and empowered.
In the postpartum period, I offer gentle, nurturing support as the body and mind recover, emotional grounding and a listening ear, and encouragement as families adjust to their new rhythm. Throughout it all, I hold space without judgment, offering calm, steady support and helping to restore the sense of village and community care that so many families are missing.

I'm especially passionate about supporting women and birthing people of all backgrounds, with a deep commitment to culturally respectful, soul-centered care. To me, this work is sacred, because both birth and healing deserve to be held with intention, dignity, and love. Overall, my goal is to help each family feel seen, supported, and empowered, surrounded by the village they deserve.
