About Me
Hello, my name is Neptoune. I am fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English, and I am eager to use my language skills and experience to support moms and soon to be moms. My goal is to help bridge communication gaps so that mothers can access important services, resources, and opportunities without barriers. As part of my support, I aim to provide guidance and comfort during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, including emotional support, advocacy, and connecting families with helpful resources. I am committed to creating a nurturing environment where women feel heard, understood, and empowered as they care for themselves and their families.
As a doula, my role is to be a steady source of support before, during, and after birth. I walk alongside parents, offering comfort, encouragement, and information so they feel prepared and confident. My approach is rooted in listening, compassion, and meeting families where they are. Every parent’s journey is unique, so I focus on honoring their choices, respecting their culture, and creating a safe, calm space. Whether it’s holding a hand during labor, explaining what’s happening in the medical setting, or checking in during the postpartum period, I’m there to make sure families feel cared for and never alone in the process.
