Hola, I'm Nicole! I'm a Latine bilingual full-spectrum doula supporting families across the reproductive spectrum. For 4 years I've supported families with conscious conception, fertility guidance, birth support, postpartum care, and loss/bereavement companionship — this work is truly my calling.
I have a Bachelor's in Clinical Psychology, I'm trained as a clinical herbalist, traditional bodyworker, certified lactation counselor (CLC), and placenta specialist, which allows me to bring a deeply holistic, multi-dimensional approach to the families I serve.
I practice with a holistic lens, deeply honoring the emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural dimensions of each person. I believe that every reproductive journey deserves to be held with compassion and respect; because when a person feels safe, heard, and physically cared for, they can move through life's most significant transitions with power and grace.
Together, we will prepare through dedicated sessions where we envision your birth ceremony—whether at home or in the hospital. Your preferences deserve to be heard, respected, and communicated clearly with your care team. Our time together includes education on the physiology and progression of labor, hands-on comfort techniques, partner preparation, and practical advocacy tools so you can approach birth with confidence and clarity. We will also create space for compassionate postpartum planning, helping you establish realistic expectations, healthy boundaries, and thoughtful communication with your support team. Together, we will build your birth "tool belt" by practicing breath work tailored to each phase of labor, deepening your understanding of labor physiology, incorporating grounding rituals such as meditation and visualization, and learning physical comfort measures.
During labor, I serve as your emotional anchor, providing continuous physical and emotional support through affirmations, breath work, and comfort measures while helping your partner remain actively engaged throughout the experience. I also foster open, respectful communication with your medical team so you feel informed, supported, and empowered in every decision along the way.
The postpartum period is a sacred window for rest, healing, and deep bonding between you and your baby. My role during this time is to care for you, so you can fully care for your little one. Postpartum support may include: birth story processing, light household tidying, laundry, nourishing meal preparation, herbal tea rituals, newborn care, and personalized guidance on infant feeding, breastfeeding, baby wearing, and infant massage. Whether you need an extra set of hands, reassurance, or someone to nurture you while you nurture your baby, I am here to support your family's unique transition.
For families seeking additional holistic care, I also offer closing of the bones, belly binding, placenta encapsulation, and bodywork to further support postpartum recovery and healing.
I enjoy supporting families from all walks of life, however I have the most experience supporting BIPOC Families, LGBTQ+ Families, IVF, Single Parents, Teen & Young Parents, Families Navigating Abortion, Families Navigating Miscarriage & Pregnancy Loss, Families Navigating Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR).
