I can cater to individuals with compassion and understanding. My role is to provide a safe, emotional support and guidance that pregnant and postpartum mothers deserve throughout all stages of pregnancy and postpartum.

Hi, I'm Sandy! I am a mother of four, a childbirth educator, a trauma-informed doula, and a breastfeeding advocate. I care for every family with compassion and understanding, and my role is to provide the safe, emotional support and guidance that pregnant and postpartum mothers deserve throughout every stage of pregnancy and postpartum. Supporting families through this journey is truly my calling.
I do not care what kind of birth a family chooses to have. A home birth, a scheduled cesarean, an epidural hospital birth, or even birthing alone in the woods next to a baby deer. What I care about is that every mother has options, that she is supported in her choices, and that she is respected. Having a baby is hard enough. No woman should have to renegotiate her birth plan, argue with her doctor or care providers about the evidence behind her decisions, comfort her husband, reassure her mother, or educate her sister; she is the voice for herself and her baby. My goal is to make sure every birthing mother is attended to like the queen she is, held with the honor and respect she deserves every step of the way.
My philosophy as a doula is rooted in compassion, respect, and evidence-based care. I believe every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and my aim is to create a safe and nurturing space where parents feel confident in their decisions and supported through the unique journey that birth brings.
As a certified full-spectrum doula with numerous professional certifications, I bring both education and experience to every family I serve. I am committed to continuing my learning so I can provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based information while honoring each family's personal values, culture, and birth preferences.
I believe birth is a deeply personal and transformative experience. My role is not to direct or replace medical care, but to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support so families feel heard, respected, and empowered. I approach every birth with an open heart, patience, and the understanding that every journey is different.
Overall, whether supporting families during pregnancy, labor, postpartum recovery, or infant feeding, my goal is to offer compassionate care, gentle guidance, and advocacy so every parent feels confident and supported every step of the way.
