About Me

Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm a full-spectrum doula trained by Doula Trainings International (DTI), and I hold a Bachelor's degree from San Jose State University. After experiencing firsthand the challenges new parents face with the arrival of my own two children, I dedicated myself to improving support for families during this transformative time. I firmly believe in the power of community, as the saying goes, "it takes a village", and I'm committed to being that supportive presence for your family, guiding you through every aspect of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. This work is truly my calling.

Before embracing this calling, I worked as a social worker and in healthcare operations. I had the honor of working in the Labor and Delivery unit at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, where I supported numerous families as they welcomed new life. My experience also includes working with Santa Cruz and San Benito counties, which gives me access to a broad network of resources to support families in need.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy is, quite simply, whatever yours is. I'm here to support you in having the birth and postpartum experience you desire, and I'll do whatever I can to help bring that vision to life.

I believe that everyone knows what is best for their own body and their own baby. It's my place not to direct, but to support, uplift, and empower you and your family throughout this special time, offering steady presence, trusted resources, and a guiding hand whenever you need one.
