Hi, I'm Stacilyn! With over 30 years of experience, I'm a certified Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and Sleep Consultant, and I'm also trained as an Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic Assistant. I've always had a deep passion for helping others, especially babies. Supporting families through the tender, early days of parenthood is truly my calling.
After graduating from college, I became a mother to two amazing children, just 20 months apart. My expertise in sleep training was shaped by my personal journey with my premature, special needs son. His arrival was challenging, and his constant need to nurse every 45 minutes, combined with food allergies, launched my search for effective, compassionate solutions. Over the first decade of his life, I continually adapted and refined his routines to meet his evolving needs. That deeply personal experience, alongside my professional work with families and extensive training, allowed me to develop a unique, holistic program that I now offer to parents in need of support.
Motivated by a genuine desire to help, I continue to update my certifications and expand my knowledge in newborn care and family support. To date, I've provided more than 20,000 hours of fourth-trimester postpartum care, and I truly love that my work allows me to travel and connect with families from all kinds of backgrounds. I'm committed to offering comprehensive, around-the-clock support during the crucial fourth trimester and beyond, often working full-time hours and more, to help families achieve a well-rested, confident, and harmonious life. My calm, patient nature lets me guide parents with reassurance and clarity as they navigate early parenthood. With three years of personal breastfeeding experience and certification as a Breastfeeding Doula, I'm also able to offer gentle, informed lactation guidance. And as a bonus, my veterinary background means I can support your fur babies too; I truly love and care for all animals!
My goal is to help you feel rested, confident, and capable as you settle into life with your new little one.
My philosophy is rooted in meeting families exactly where they are and supporting them without judgment. Every family is different, and there's no single "right" way to navigate the early days of parenthood, so my role is to offer steady, compassionate guidance that fits your family's unique needs, values, and rhythm.
I take a holistic approach, focusing on practical support, education, and reassurance so parents feel confident and capable. My calm, patient nature allows me to guide families with clarity and warmth, especially through the crucial fourth trimester. Above all, my goal is to help you feel rested, supported, and empowered as you settle into life with your new little one.
