Full Spectrum Doula

Tabitha Lynn

I believe the laboring person should be empowered, educated, and encouraged. They (and their support person/people) should have information at their fingertips, to make decisions and/or be satisfied in actions taken.

About Me

The term "doula" first caught my attention in 1997, and I eagerly enrolled in a training a month later. At that time doula work was mainly focused on labor and birth, with little emphasis on postpartum care. However, after attending births and supporting clients during their postpartum, I realized my passion for postpartum work. In the mid-2010s, I shifted my primary focus to postpartum care and added a sleep training option in the early 2020s. I have since assisted a diverse range of families, including single parents, same-sex parents, surrogacy arrangements, and those recovering from Cesarean deliveries.

I believe the laboring person should be empowered, educated, and encouraged. They (and their support person/people) should have information at their fingertips, to make decisions and/or be satisfied in actions taken.
