Taiye Adeagbo is a Full Spectrum Doula, maternal wellness advocate, community activist, and Kundalini Yoga instructor dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a mother of three, she brings both professional training and lived experience to her work, offering compassionate, culturally responsive care that honors the unique needs of each family. Supporting families through these meaningful stages of life is truly her calling.
Taiye has served as a Community Doula with the Nurturing Roots Program and Happy Mama Healthy Baby, providing prenatal, birth, and postpartum support to families throughout Los Angeles. She has also worked as a Midwife's Assistant, gaining hands-on experience supporting physiological birth and family-centered care.
Beyond birth work, Taiye is especially passionate about nutrition, natural beauty, and holistic wellness. She believes true beauty begins with health and nourishment, and she loves educating women on the connection between diet, lifestyle, stress reduction, movement, and radiant well-being. Her approach blends evidence-based information with traditional wellness practices to help women feel their best from the inside out.
Deeply committed to maternal health equity, Taiye has supported a diverse range of clients, including single mothers, Muslim families, Latino families, and Black families. Her holistic approach integrates emotional support, childbirth education, advocacy, yoga, meditation, and wellness practices to help parents feel informed, empowered, and nurtured throughout their journey. Her mission is to create safe, supportive spaces where families can thrive and experience pregnancy, birth, and parenthood with confidence and dignity.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are sacred transitions that deserve compassionate, individualized support. As a full-spectrum doula, I provide emotional, physical, educational, and practical care that nurtures the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, while honoring each family's unique values, cultural traditions, and preferences.
During pregnancy, I help families prepare through evidence-based childbirth education, nutrition and natural wellness guidance, prenatal yoga and breathwork, and thoughtful birth planning, so parents feel informed, supported, and connected to their own inner wisdom. During birth, I offer continuous labor support, comfort measures and positioning, emotional reassurance, advocacy for informed choices, and a calm, grounding presence throughout. I trust the innate intelligence of the birthing body while recognizing that every birth unfolds differently; my role is never to control the experience, but to help families feel supported, respected, and empowered.
I believe postpartum care is just as important as birth care. The weeks following birth should be a time of healing, nourishment, bonding, and adjustment, so I support families through physical and emotional recovery, newborn care and infant feeding, rest and self-care, and traditional, culturally rooted postpartum practices, always building confidence in each parent's own instincts and abilities.
Above all, I believe birth is a normal and transformative life event, that every family deserves respectful, culturally responsive care, and that nutrition, movement, rest, and emotional well-being are foundational to maternal health. Parents are the experts on their own lives and deserve informed choice; community support is essential for thriving families, and beauty, wellness, and motherhood are deeply connected. Overall, my intention is to help families feel seen, heard, informed, and supported as they welcome new life and step into parenthood with confidence and joy.
