I am a postpartum doula, and am here to lighten your load so you can focus on baby and your own recovery.

Hi, Mamas! I'm a postpartum doula, and I'm here to lighten your load so you can focus on your baby and your own recovery. I approach the postpartum period with intention; my heart is to truly nourish the mother. Postpartum goes far beyond the six weeks after delivery that we so often hear about; we are forever transformed as mothers, mind, body, and soul, after every birth. Because of this long-haul approach, my care is designed to support you today, as well as the you of the future. My goal is to help you establish healthy, sustainable routines, connect you with as many resources as possible, and be your shoulder to lean on (and cry on) during this tender time.
I received my full-spectrum doula certification through The Circle Family Center in Aptos, CA, and I continue my education through ongoing conferences and specialized workshops. I'm also a Pro-Member of Evidence-Based Birth and an avid reader and listener of their research and others like it, so I can stay current on evidence-based information.
Before becoming a doula, I wore many hats: I worked on an organic vegetable farm, started my own flower farm and botanical crafting business, and sold my handmade soaps at local farmers' markets. Most importantly, I became a mother two times over, and it was after the second birth that I became obsessed with all things birth. I also had a wonderful postpartum doula with my second, and her support inspired me to pay it forward to other mamas.
When I'm not supporting mamas, you'll likely find me playing and dancing with my kids, crocheting, practicing yoga, or adventuring with my family. Becoming a mother truly takes a village, and I would love to be part of yours.
My philosophy is rooted in nourishing the mother. I approach the postpartum period with intention because I believe postpartum goes far beyond the six weeks after delivery that we so often hear about; we are forever transformed as mothers, mind, body, and soul, after every birth.
As a mother of two myself, I understand firsthand just how tender and transformative this season is, and that lived experience deeply shapes how I support families. Because of this long-haul approach, my care is designed to support you today as well as the you of the future. I take an evidence-based, holistic approach, helping you establish healthy, sustainable routines, connecting you with as many resources as possible, and being your shoulder to lean on (and cry on) during this tender time. I meet each family where they are, with patience, warmth, and respect for your unique journey.
Overall, my goal is to help you feel nourished, supported, and capable as you settle into motherhood, because becoming a mother truly takes a village, and I would love to be part of yours.
