About Me

Hi Mamas!

I am a postpartum doula, and am here to lighten your load so you can focus on baby and your own recovery.

I approach the postpartum period with intention to nourish the mother. Postpartum goes beyond the 6 weeks after delivery that is often talked about; we are forever transformed as mothers, mind, body and soul, after every birth. Because of this long-haul approach, my services aim to support you today, as well as you in the future. My goal is to help you establish healthy, sustainable routines, connect you with as many resources as possible, and be your shoulder to lean (and/or cry) on during this tender time.

I received a full-spectrum doula certification through The Circle Family Center in Aptos, CA, and am continuing my education through ongoing conferences & specialized workshops.

Before becoming a doula, I wore many hats: I worked on an organic vegetable farm, started my own flower farm & botanical crafting business, and sold my handmade soaps at local farmer's markets. Most importantly, I became a mother two times over, and it was after my second that I became obsessed with all things birth. I also had a wonderful postpartum doula with my second, and her support inspired me to pay it forward to other mamas.

When I am not supporting mamas, you'll likely find me playing and always dancing with my kids, crocheting, practicing yoga or adventuring with my family. I am a Pro-Member of Evidence Based Birth, and an avid listener and reader of their research and others like it to stay current on evidence-based information.

Becoming a mother truly takes a village, and I would love to be a part of yours.
