Doulas shall provide equitable, respectful care to all clients and shall not discriminate against or harass any client, colleague, or partner on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, language, religion, age, disability, socioeconomic status, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, body size, or any other protected or personal characteristic. Doulas are expected to practice cultural humility and to honor each client's values, preferences, and autonomy.
